Dan Cote – Vice President
Dan has been with National Granite Flooring since its beginnings and has more than 30 years of expertise in the industry. He oversees sales and client development, customer strategy, contract negotiations, budgeting, and the overall scope of work.
My kids and family motivate me to get up. You could say I am a dedicated family man.
I love seeing a project come together from beginning to end, but I especially enjoy the opening phase. It’s satisfying to help clients meet their budgets and maximize their projects
I’d like people to remember that I am a straight-up kind of person. I tell it exactly how it is.
We have a swimming pool and live near the beach, so we all enjoy swimming alot. But I also do a lot of hiking with my wife and family.
I think it’s being honest and straight up with people. And when there is a mistake, be a solutions-oriented person rather than casting blame.

Mark Ploss – Vice President
Mark has 35 plus years of experience in the commercial flooring sector. He oversees the sales and operations that includes working closely with the sales team on new project acquisitions, on-site project supervision, scheduling, and quality control.
With compassion, care, and respect.
I enjoy finishing a job on time, which brings a personal satisfaction, as well as knowing that you are satisfying the customer also.
Coming in and getting guys going on jobs. Working with the sales teams to get new jobs off the ground and making sure that the everything is working the way it’s supposed to in the field.
Leading by example. Don’t expect anyone to do anything that you are not willing to do yourself.

JR manages the critical foundation of our projects from the ground up. Overseeing end-to-end bid processing, he handles everything from precise estimating to comprehensive inside project management. With a sharp eye for detail, he provides seamless daily support to our field project managers, ensuring every job is thoroughly prepared and set up for success before it even breaks ground.
Butch Small
Meet Butch—the friendly powerhouse who keeps everything in our warehouse running like a well-oiled machine! From coordinating seamless shipping, receiving, and deliveries to managing our daily schedules, Butch oversees it all with a steady hand. Most importantly, he’s the proud leader of our warehouse dream team, making sure everyone has what they need to succeed and keep your projects on track.
Marc Chasse
Marc isn’t just a master sheet vinyl specialist—he’s the guy who keeps your project moving forward from day one to completion. Highly adaptable and deeply experienced, he handles everything from precise estimating and seamless scheduling to hands-on installation. When you work with Marc, you get a dedicated problem-solver who wears every hat needed to get the job done right.
Brian Green
As Executive Field Operations Manager, Brian brings a comprehensive "get it done" approach to every phase of construction. From initial material checks and scope reviews to final delivery, installation, and punch lists, he ensures seamless execution on every project. Known for his hands-on leadership and collaborative spirit, Brian works closely with project teams to turn challenges into successful outcomes
Andre Walker
As the Project Foreman, Andre leads our field operations, overseeing every aspect of the crew's daily performance, managing projects seamlessly from the initial installation through to the final quality control inspection. He ensures that every project not only matches the architectural design perfectly but also strictly adheres to local building codes and comprehensive warranty protocols.
Maddy Cote
Maddy's friendly personality and estimating know-how has made her a strong contributor to our estimating team. She reviews drawings, specs and scopes to create competitive bids for our customers. Her value engineering skills also helps build close relationships with our GCs.
Shawn L. Caldwell
A third-generation flooring professional, Shawn brings 35 years of comprehensive experience to the commercial flooring industry, having advanced from an apprentice to executive leadership. As Director of Operations, he pairs generational craft expertise with advanced operational strategy to deliver high-scale commercial projects from conception to flawless execution.
